SYA Summer Rugby 2024 Sweeps States!

As the sun sets on our stunningly successful summer season, we want to take a moment to celebrate our incredible achievements. SYA Rugby, along with our partners, Western Suburbs Rugby, made waves at the recent Rugby Virginia Summer tournament held at the Culpeper Sports Complex. Our teams competed fiercely against clubs from all over Virginia and Washington D.C., and the results speak for themselves:

• U18 Tackle: 1st Place
• U16 Tackle: 1st Place
• U14 Tackle: 1st Place
• U14/12 Tag: 1st Place
• U10 Tag: 1st Place
• U8 Tag: No trophies awarded at this level but the kids went 2-0!

Our U18 Tackle and U10 Tag teams were undefeated this Summer!

Spring 2025 Season

Conditioning for tackle will start in January with games starting in March culminating in a statewide tournament in May. To learn more or visit our Facebook page for more current updates. 

Summer 2025 Season

We will offer Tag and Tackle during the Summer Season. Practices will start in May and are held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday during the season. Games will start in June and are held festival style with each team playing 2-4 games on a Saturday morning. The season culminates in a state wide tournament in July.
